• January 1, 2001 thru July 1, 2002 C.E.O. and President of a diverse company in northern Colorado with, at the time, approximately 300 employees and One Hundred Million Dollars in gross sales

• 1997 thru January 1, 2001 managing partner in Sanger and Svitavsky, LLC., a law firm, located in the Denver Tech Center, Englewood, Colorado.

• 1986 thru 1997, senior partner in the law firm of Corporon Hoehn Svitavsky Eyler & Hill, LLC, a law firm, located near the Denver Tech Center, Englewood, Colorado.

• Early to mid 1980's assistant county attorney south of Topeka, Kansas, a criminal prosecutor in Topeka, Kansas, and then in house counsel for a diverse company in southern Colorado.

EDUCATION: Preparatory Education: University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, LaCrosse, Wisconsin (B.S. 1978). Legal Education: Washburn University, Topeka, Kansas (Juris Doctor 1981) and University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Arkansas (Master of Laws, 1986)*.

LEGAL ASSOCIATIONS: Fraternities: Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity. Member: Weld County Bar Association; Colorado and Kansas Bar Associations; American Bar Association; and the Trial Lawyer's Association of America.

PUBLICATIONS: Author: "Kansas Farmland Lease Law" co-authored with United States Senator from the State of Kansas Sam Brownback and published in The Journal of the Kansas Bar Association. Author: “An Overview of Stockholder Appraisal Rights in Mergers and Consolidations of Cooperatives” published in The Cooperative Accountant. Author: "Legal Aspects of Kansas Farm Leases", Kansas State Extension Service. Assisted in preparing: "Agricultural Law" two volumes published by Little Brown; "Florida Land Use Restrictions" published by D.N.S. Publishing Company; and "Zoning, The Law in Florida" published by the Harrison Company.

SPEAKING AND TEACHING ENGAGEMENTS: Speaker at numerous seminars involving credit, employment law, commercial law, Director and Management responsibility, acquisitions, mergers, and matters involving OSHA, EPA and the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Guest lecturer at Colorado State University involving the formation and use of different business entities.

LEGISLATIVE WORK: Vice-chair of the Colorado Bar Association Committee which entirely rewrote the Colorado Cooperative Act, Title 7, Article 56 of the Colorado Revised Statutes.

* Ted Svitavsky, the founder of the Firm, is one of a very few and select people in the United States with the advanced degree of Master of Laws received from the University of Arkansas. Attorneys, after receiving their Juris Doctorate degree or a comparable degree from a foreign country, apply to the Master of Laws program at the University of Arkansas School of Law from all over the world but only a few are accepted in the program each year and fewer actually graduate due to the demands of the program. The degree includes extensive legal education involving business, finance, and administrative law.
